What is JustAddCommerce?
JustAddCommerce is a plug-in component for Microsoft FrontPage which sets up a shopping cart system within an existing web site automatically. A purchase includes the JustAddCommerce program, an electronic help manual, a Quick Start Card and one year of secured SSL ordering service.
Who should use JustAddCommerce?
JustAddCommerce allows anyone to add commerce to their web site in a matter of minutes. It is not intended for a company that needs thousands of transactions per day.
Layout and formatting questions
Will JustAddCommerce work on any server?
Even though JustAddCommerce requires Microsoft FrontPage as a host, it does not require the server or ISP to be FrontPage compatible. JustAddCommerce is real CGI and will run on any type of server, including NT, Unix and Mac.
Can I create my own shipping formulas?
JustAddCommerce has three built-in shipping methods: by user choice, by weight and by item quantity. Base rate shipping and ship by order total were added later.
Transaction service questions
How does the customer know the order is accepted?
When a customer places an order and submits it, they receive a unique order confirmation number displayed in their browser window, along with a custom message that the merchant has programmed into JustAddCommerce.
Security and hosting questions
The cart is professional SSL CGI technology, and orders are retrieved safely with any SSL browser. Because JustAddCommerce is a commerce processing network rather than a web host, the merchant keeps their existing hosting arrangements and their own merchant account.
